Grape Day 5k and Festival

Walk or run in this Escondido Sunrise Rotary club Grape Day 5k.

Stick around after the race for the Grape Day Parade and Festival, featuring a finish line beer garden with beer from Stone Brewing Co. Each runner over 21 will receive one free beer ticket, a shirt and a cooler goody bag.

The Grape Day festival includes free grapes, stomping of the grapes and more.

The 5k finishes at the Grape Day Parade starting point.  The race benefits the good works, locally and internationally, of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary including polio eradication, the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club and youth leadership programs.

You can pick up your race packet on Thursday, Sept. 8 at Road Runner Sports in Carlsbad (5617 Paseo Del Norte #100 - Carlsbad, CA 92008) from 4-8 p.m. (

You can also arrive early to the 5k on Saturday and pick up your packet there.

The race begins at 7:30 a.m. but registration starts at 6:30 a.m. The festival begins at 9:30 a.m.
