Plant yourself on the side of Main Street and watch the red, white and blue-hued parade.
From 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., there will be a flyover that will include a US Navy Skyraider, a T-28 Vintage Trainer and four T-34 Trainers. The parade begins afterward and goes down Main Street, beginning at Julian High School and ending at Washington Street.
Be prepared for kids leading their animals, World War II veterans in classic ars, descendants of early gold mining families, and the newly crowned Miss Julian and her entourage. You'll also see bands, banners, flags, color guards, and sing along with patriotic songs.
