Get a guided tour of the Barona Museum from 10-11 a.m. followed by a native artist showcase from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Artist Daria Mariscal, a PaiPai Kumeyaay, will be showing off her handmade art, including traditional Kumeyaay woven baskets and pottery. Mariscal received the 2010 Popular Art and Traditional National Award from the president of Mexico.
Visitors will receive 10 percent off any of Mariscal's art that you'd like to purchase during the showcase.
