Native Artist Showcase and Guided Tour

Get a guided tour of the Barona Museum from 10-11 a.m. followed by a native artist showcase from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Native artist Ana Gloria "Martha" Rodriguez, a Kumeyaay, will be showing off her handmade art, including traditional Kumeyaay woven baskets and beadwork. Rodriguez and her family participated in the 2007 Emmy-nominated documentary Survival of the Weave. Her artwork is displayed at the National Museum of Anthropology and History in Mexico City.

Visitors will receive 10 percent off any of Rodriguez's art that you'd like to purchase during the showcase.
