Rainforest Rescuers Summer Camp June 25 - August 10

Rainforest Rescuers

Come join our "Rainforest Rescuers" Summer Camp.  We will investigate life in the rainforest through language, science, stories, songs, arts, crafts and theater.  We will experience the Rainforest through hands on activities using all our senses.

  • See how beautiful the plants and animals are.
  • Feel the moist soil between our toes.
  • Smell the aroma of fresh rain.
  • Hear the peaceful sounds of the amazing animals.
  • Taste delicious treats from the Amazon.

From the emergent layer to the forest floor, the rainforest is loaded with life that leaps, climbs and flies among the trees. Our investigations will unlock some of the mysteries of the rainforest. There is a variety of life throughout the layers of the rainforest which will be the inspiration for many art projects. The children will use a variety of materials and techniques to craft their canopy creations. Our jungle journey will include the children creating costumes, painting backdrops, making props and rehearsing their part in our theatrical production adapted from one of their favorite rainforest stories.
