General Plan Update Is Under Discussion Again Today
The County Board of Supervisors will look at staff modifications to the document that outlines growth in unincorporated areas.

The update to the General Plan — the document that lays out the parameters for growth in unincorporated areas of San Diego county — is once more before the County Board of Supervisors today.
The Board last looked at the issue on March 16. Staff was asked to look at some property specific requests and to present some solutions that would not require recirculating the environmental analysis.
The General Plan Update was presented by staff to the Board in October 2010. Hearings also were held in November and December and the public made 232 property specific requests.
