The fatal crash was reported about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday near Warner Springs, according to the California Highway Patrol.

OAK GROVE, CA: A Riverside County man was killed Tuesday in a motorcycle crash on a winding stretch of state Route 79 near Warner Springs.
The 59-year-old Murrieta resident was riding a Harley-Davidson to the south in the Oak Grove area about 12:30 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve north of Chihuahua Valley Road and crossed directly into the path of an oncoming Ford E350 camper, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two-wheeler smashed into the front of the RV, despite attempts by its driver, a 34-year-old German man, to avoid a collision by swerving and hitting the brakes, CHP public-affairs Officer Kevin Pearlstein said.
