Hundreds Without Power Near Ramona

RAMONA, CA – Hundreds of customers are without power Monday morning in and around Ramona.

San Diego Gas & Electric reported on its outage map that 780 customers are without power in south Poway, Highland Valley, south Ramona, Iron Mountain and Barona.

Weather affected SDG&E equipment and caused the outage at 12:22 a.m. SDG&E estimates the power will be restored by 7 p.m.

Elsewhere around the region, SDG&E has shut off the electricity to more than 1,000 customers in East County, as a red flag warning continues for San Diego and much of Southern California.
