Over 1,000 Without Power In Ramona Area

RAMONA, CA — More than 1,000 San Diego Gas & Electric customers were without power Monday in and around Ramona.

Two outages were reported around 12:40 a.m. in the Ramona area, according to the SDG&E outage map. The outages affected 1,071 customers in the communities of Highland Valley, south Ramona, Iron Mountain and Barona.

Power is expected to be restored by noon, according to SDG&E. Crews are assessing the outages to determine the cause.
