Promises2Kids Announces New Board Chair Steven Sublett
Steven Sublett is a resident of Ramona, Calif. He has supported the organization for over 10 years.

Promises2Kids announces the appointment of a new Board Chair. Promises2Kids is happy to welcome new Board Chair, Steven Sublett, who has over 30 years of experience in the business community.
Sublett is the CEO of CBIZ Life Insurance Solutions Inc. and Sr. VP of National Strategic Services for Cleveland, Ohio based CBIZ Inc.’s Employee Benefits Division, responsible for oversight of both retail and wholesale distribution channels for the life insurance products offered by CBIZ. He believes “Success is about the people we serve; it’s about our clients, our staff and our solid mutual relationships with both”. With his drive and acumen,
he has been instrumental in moving businesses forward.
Sublett resides in Ramona with his wife Leona, daughter Sammie, and an abundance of animals, including four horses, two dogs, three cats, a tortoise and a fish. When the family is not tending to their “zoo” they enjoy playing golf, camping and supporting Sammie in her many activities, including volleyball, soccer and pairing with Leona in showing two of their horses.

He is active in the San Diego community as a dedicated volunteer and donor to many important local causes. He has been supporting Promises2Kids for over 10 years as a volunteer.
Inspired by his involvement with Promises2Kids, Sublett believes that everyone has a role in strengthening our communities. “Children are our legacy and they are what define us,” he says. “Not just our biological children, but all children. The programs, the staff and the heart and soul of Promises2Kids … strengthen our communities and make us all better people as a result.”

Promises2Kids is a leading nonprofit organization originally founded over 30 years ago to support foster children. Annually, it provides over 3,300 current and former foster youth in San Diego County with the tools, opportunities, and guidance they need to address the circumstances that brought them into foster care, overcome the difficulties of their past, and grow into healthy, happy and successful adults. Promises2Kids programs include the Polinsky Children’s Center, Camp Connect, Guardian Scholars and Foster Funds.
