Escolastica Nicolassa died in her Ramona home on Nov. 30, according to the U-T San Diego obituary. She was 90.
Escolastica is remembered as a loyal wife to her husband Frank and her family "and she devoted her time and energy to caring for others."
A memorial mass was held Dec. 6 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and she was interred at Ramona Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and seven siblings.
Her family asks that donations be made to Elizabeth Hospice.
