It was hot enough Monday to tie a high temperature record set decades ago in Ramona.

RAMONA, CA – The weather was hot Monday in Ramona – hot enough to tie a high temperature record set decades ago.
With high temperatures putting the San Diego region under heat advisories and excessive heat warnings, the National Weather Service reported near-record breaking temperatures, including in Ramona, where the high of 105 degrees tied a record set in 1981.
Record-setting temperatures are forecast in Ramona Tuesday, with high temperatures now expected to last into the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service. As a public safety measure, an excessive heat warning has been extended through 10 p.m. Friday after it was initially slated to expire Wednesday.
