Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Parts Of San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for north central and southeastern San Diego County. The warning is in effect until 3:15 p.m.

A severe thunderstorm was spotted around 2:08 p.m. near Highway 79 between Warner Springs and Oak Grove, according to the National Weather Service. Radar indicated 60 mph wind gusts and penny-sized hail.

"For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building," weather officials advised.

• Warner Springs
• Highway 79 between Warner Springs and Oak Grove
• Lake Henshaw
• Highway 74 Bbetween Anza and Palm Desert
• S7 - East Grade Road
• Highway 79 between Oak Grove and Aguanga
• Borrego Palm Canyon
• Highway 79 between Santa Ysabel and Warner Springs
• Aguanga
• Highway S2 between Highway 79 and Highway 78
• Cahuilla Indian Reservation
• Oak Grove
• Los Coyotes Indian Reservation
• Santa Rosa Mountain
