Small Brush Fire Sparks In Ramona

The blaze was apparently sparked by a lawn mower, a sheriff's lieutenant said.

RAMONA, CA – Firefighters are working to extinguish a roughly half-acre brush fire near a solar-panel installation in the 1600 block of Warnock Drive in Ramona, a sheriff's lieutenant said.

Crews have halted the spread of the flames, which have caused no reported property damage or injuries. The blaze was apparently sparked by a lawn mower, the lieutenant said.
