Your Patch Guide to Happiness
An American Idol in the making? You be the judge. A blues bash, a touch of Twain ... and the Fair continues at Del Mar.
Sure, you've been living like it's summer since Memorial Day but Tuesday it becomes official. It's the longest day of the year—sunset isn't until 8 p.m.—so what are you going to do all weekend to celebrate?
We can guide you to what's happening, from a competition modeled on a big TV hit to a Grammy winner's beach blowout.
Don't get so caught up in the glorious, seemingly never-ending daylight that you forget dear ol' dad. Look for restaurants, stores and museums to offer free or reduced admission and other special events to celebrate Father's Day.
