Baldy Scenic Ride lift ticket, worth about $40, by donating $10 or more at the historic Cucamonga Service Station on Route 66 from September 3–13. The all-volunteer station is using this promotion, backed by Mt. Baldy Resort and Mt. Baldy Brewing, to raise funds and draw more locals into preserving a key city landmark.

The complaint seeks more than $35,000 and accuses the hotel and owner of negligence, premises liability, and other claims tied to the 2024 stay.
   

4. Operation Consequences Nets 11 Felony Arrests and Eight Firearms Across San Bernardino County (crimevoice.com) — Rancho Cucamonga was one of several San Bernardino County cities targeted in a recent week of "Operation Consequences," which led to 11 felony arrests and eight seized firearms, including ghost guns. The Sheriff's Department says the ongoing, county-funded effort focuses on gang members and people barred from having guns, aiming to reduce violent crime and improve quality of life.
