4S Ranch Recreation Office To Close For Veterans Day; Park Remains Open

RANCHO BERNARDO-4S RANCH, CA — Residents planning to visit county facilities over Veterans Day should prepare for temporary closures Wednesday, Nov. 11, as San Diego County observes the federal holiday.

The 4S Ranch recreation office will be closed for the holiday, although the surrounding park will remain accessible for permitted activities.

The closure is part of a countywide holiday schedule affecting government offices, family resource centers, county-operated libraries, public health centers and animal shelters.

Several county recreation and community center offices will also close.

Residents who need to complete county business, access public health services or visit a county library are encouraged to plan their visits before or after the holiday.

Despite the closures, county parks and campgrounds will remain open during their regular operating hours, with some recreation facilities operating on modified schedules.

Law enforcement, emergency animal control response and other essential county services will continue throughout Veterans Day.
