Diabetes Association to benefit at free golf event in Rancho Bernardo for CPAs

The American Diabetes Association’s San Diego chapter says it will receive all proceeds from sales of raffle tickets and mulligans at a free afternoon golf tournament for any certified public accountant (CPA) on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 30, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The day-long program, hosted by the Principal Financial Group of San Diego, also includes free breakfast, lunch and a complimentary morning seminar, according to the Principal Financial Group’s Clark Anderson, senior financial representative. The morning seminar, worth four hours of continuing professional education credit, will cover estate planning, pension plans, healthcare insurance and investment planning, Anderson said. More than 80 CPAs already have signed-up for the program, he said. Any CPA in San Diego County is invited to attend.
