Broncos Use Big Plays to Edge Fallbrook 27-26
Rancho Bernardo stops a 2-point conversion try by the Warriors to earn the win.

Rancho Bernardo High used a big-play offense plus a big play by the defense to edge Fallbrook 27-26 on the Warriors' field Friday night.
Glenn Paggett's 48-yard touchdown run with 7:37 left in final quarter broke a 20-20 tie and gave RB the lead for good.
Vinnie Cordova's 6-yard TD run with 3:48 remaining enabled Fallbrook (0-2) to get within a point, and the Warriors went for the win with a 2-point conversion try.

RB's Jake Arnell tackled Garrett MacLean short of the goal line on a pass in the flat, and the Broncos (2-1) retained a one-point lead and subsequently ran out the clock.
Rancho Bernardo's Paggett had 111 yards rushing on 11 carries, including a 45-yard scoring run in the first quarter. Trent Sessions hit German Cardoza on an 80-yard scoring play in the third quarter. Sessions was 16 for 24 for 196 yards and two TDs.

Cordova had 174 yards on 31 carries for Fallbrook.
