Starting off the new year with a continuation of its expansion trajectory, San Diego's largest gymnastics school and camp program will open its sixth location later this year in Rancho Bernardo at 11965-A Bernardo Plaza Dr, San Diego, CA 92128.

Founded in 2008, San Diego Gymnastics has grown from a single location in Point Loma to now covering all corners of the county with classes and programs to promote physical activity including parkour, tumbling, alternative pre-school, an after school program, camps, parties, Kids’ Night Out and open gym.

"We are constantly growing and adapting, proudly providing best in class options for San Diego families of all types following both USA Gymnastics and American Parkour Academies certified lesson plans," said San Diego Gymnastics co-founder Christina Grady. In 2022, the company named previous executive directors Erin Adams and Paige Conroy as Co-CEOs and Gavin Grady now serves as the company's Director of Operations and Expansion.

At just over 7,000 square feet, the Rancho Bernardo facility will feature a full slate of state-of-the-art gymnastics equipment, training apparatus and a complete parkour set up, allowing greater diversity of class offerings in a variety of settings. Pre-registration is now open and Founders Club memberships will offer a number of special offers and incentives. Updates regarding opening dates and other promotions will be on www.sdgymnastics.com and the company's social media channels.

"We knew there has been strong demand for a facility like ours in the inland North County area with so many families seeking quality training programs and activities for their kids, so the decision to open our sixth location in Rancho Bernardo was a natural decision," said San Diego Gymnastics co-CEO Erin Adams. "We are thrilled to become part of the Rancho Bernardo community and offer a valuable resource for all to enjoy and keep kids moving and happy," Adams added.

From walking to age 17, San Diego Gymnastics offers a variety of programs that expose children to fun and fitness in a unique and safe environment promoting healthy competition in a relaxed and supportive setting. San Diego Gymnastics has five additional locations in San Diego County, including spots in Point Loma/Midway, La Mesa, Chula Vista, Carlsbad and Mission Valley, covering a wide range of neighborhoods.

All San Diego Gymnastics coaches are USAG certified, CPR and First Aid certified and background checked. Team members include California Credentialed teachers, collegiate level gymnasts, American Parkour Certified coaches, physical and occupational therapists, kinesiology and child psychology majors.

San Diego Gymnastics opened their first location in Point Loma in 2008 after owners Doug and Christina Grady were trying to find time to shuttle their three children to various activities, including driving their daughter 30+ minutes each way to gymnastics three times a week while each working full time jobs.

The Gradys' combination of entrepreneurial experience and fitness backgrounds, coupled with the understanding of the demand for gymnastics in Point Loma, made for the key ingredients that sparked the beginning of San Diego Gymnastics. The company expanded to Chula Vista with a location at Otay Ranch Town Center in 2013, then to La Mesa at Grossmont Center in 2017 and La Costa in early 2021, along with the relocation of the original Point Loma gym to the Midway District in mid 2021. Now helmed by co-CEOs Erin Adams and Paige Conroy, the company opened its fifth location in Mission Valley earlier in 2023 and Doug and Christina's son Gavin serves as the company's operations manager.
