Cub Scouts Grow Up at Bridging Ceremony

Cub Scout Pack 605 from Rancho Peñasquitos celebrated the transition of several troops into the Boy Scouts with a bridging ceremony at Sunset Hills Elementary School on Friday.

The ceremony brought together family, friends and scouts for a night of dinner and cake (served by the scouts), plays and jokes. The Cub Scouts were welcomed into their new Boy Scout troops by crossing a bridge on the elementary school stage with their families right behind them.
