Rancho Bernardo High School PTSA Grad Nite & Shea Realty Present “Cruise the Bay with Shea” – a San Diego Bay Cruise Fundraiser
The Rancho Bernardo High School PTSA Grad Nite Committee & Shea Realty are happy to present “Cruise the Bay with Shea” – a San Diego Bay Cruise on a 29 foot Catalena to include lunch for up to six people. This is a fundraiser to benefit Rancho Bernardo High School PTSA Grad Nite 2012. Opportunity Drawing tickets are $5 for one or $20 for five. Tickets may be purchased at www.rbhsgradnite.org.

Graduation creates an emotionally charged day and an even more electrifying evening that holds the promise of many celebration parties. National statistics indicate that more teenage alcohol-related accidents and fatalities occur on high school graduation night than any other time of the year. For fatal crashes occurring from midnight to 3:00 am, 77% involved alcohol. Safe and Sober Grad Nite provides a supervised, safe environment for the graduating Seniors to celebrate. At Safe and Sober Grad Nite the graduates can have “the time of their lives” without risking their lives. By providing a Safe and Sober Grad Nite, we can greatly reduce the risk of harm to the graduates, and the community at large – on a night when that risk is unusually high.

The growing number of incidents prompted the Parent Teacher Student Associations (PTSA) around the country to develop the “Grad Nite” approach to the post-graduation celebration- providing a safe, sober and supervised celebration. The RBHS PTSA is excited about hosting this event for the 14th straight year! We are pleased to report that our themed Grad Nite parties draw an average of 80-85 percent participation among RBHS seniors.
