Firefighters Knock Down House Fire on Lincolnshire Street
The fire appears to have started in the kitchen just before 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters have put out an apparent kitchen fire that started Friday afternoon at a home in Rancho Bernardo.
The fire at 18364 Lincolnshire St., first reported at 2:22 p.m. Friday, happened while no one was home except the family’s 2-year-old pitbull, Page, who fled. Neighbors chased the dog through the neighborhood—some while barefoot—and finally caught her.
Page was not injured in the fire, but did suffer minor injuries to her paws while running, family members said.
