The Maha Kumbh Mela is the world’s oldest and largest gathering of Human beings on planet earth. Part mass pilgrimage and part festival, millions of people from all over the world – representing every culture, nationality and faith — come together every four years in India on this monumental and majestic occasion. On the day of the Shaahi Snaan (the ‘royal’ dip in the waters), over a hundred million people join hundreds of thousands of ascetics & monks in a glorious procession to experience a sacred dip in the bathing ghats.
