The annual In The Company of Women event Monday featured actress Ashley Judd.

Judd, a survivor of sexual abuse, spoke about her experience and the need to support the YWCA of San Diego County's programs. 

The event—a fundraiser for the nonprofit—also awarded three local women for their contributions.
