New 3-Story Target Joins North County Mall

The newest Target is just one exit away from Rancho Bernardo. Will you be heading there?

Shoppers can now get the first look inside a new three-story Target at the Westfield North County Mall.

A grand opening is slated for Sunday, Oct. 14, but a many have been stopping by this week during a soft opening to "work out any kinks," according to the North County Times:

"The 150,000-square-foot store, which was built inside a vacant Robinson's-May that closed six years ago, is part of $55 million in ongoing renovations to the 83-acre mall. Other renovations include upgrading the mall's food court, resurfacing all parking lots, adding a children's play area and installing new floors, lighting, railings and benches."
