New Exercise Studio The Dailey Method Opens in RB
The studio is offering several promotions for locals to celebrate the opening.
There’s a new way to get in shape in Rancho Bernardo: The Dailey Method.
The Dailey Method opens Friday and can be found near Vons and next to Massage Envy. It is a full body workout combining pilates and the Lotte Berk method. Exercises include strength training, toning and conditioning in a non-impact way and with the assistance of a ballet barre. The Dailey Method was started in San Francisco and has expanded to include two locations in San Diego.
The local Rancho Bernardo studio is owned by Stephanie Firenze, a San Diego native. She discovered The Dailey Method in the Bay Area and was so excited with the changes she saw in her body she couldn’t wait to bring the technique to San Diego.
“Within weeks of starting this workout, I felt taller, slimmer and more toned," Firenze said. “I always had the tendency to bulk up doing strength training, which is why I always stuck to cardiovascular exercise. The Dailey Method is the only workout regimen I have found that helped me get longer and leaner muscles like a dancer without the choreography."
Firenze, who said her husband was born and raised in Poway, said she is "thrilled" to bring The Dailey Method to the Rancho Bernardo and Poway communities.
One class is $20, with discounts for bulk class purchases. The studio is also offering specials: Any new client can attend an unlimited number of classes in a month for $100. Childcare is offered Monday through Friday at the 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. classes. Kids must be 10 years old and younger, and the cost is $5 per child. Registration for your child can be done during class signup online.
This weekend, The Dailey Method is offering several ways to see what they’re all about. A grand opening reception will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday. Try a free class, tour the studio, enjoy healthy food and beverage offerings and enter to win raffle prizes.
