North County Toddler Injured by Falling TV

A toddler was injured by a falling television set at a North County home Wednesday afternoon, authorities reported.

The accident in the 500 block of Autumn Drive in San Marcos was reported about 1:45 p.m., a NorthComm dispatcher said. Medics airlifted the child to a trauma center for treatment of injuries of undisclosed severity.

The child's name, gender and exact age were not released.

Deputies responded to the accident along with medics, sheriff's Lt. Andrea Arreola said.
