Northbound I-15 Express Lanes Partially Closed Tuesday

The California Department of Transportation released the following announcement on Monday:

California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) crews will close the northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) Express Lanes from Rancho Bernardo Road in San Diego to the Del Lago Boulevard overcrossing in Escondido on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for an accident investigation.

Signs will be posted directing motorists from the Rancho Bernardo transit station to use Rancho Bernardo Road to access the northbound I-15 general- purpose lanes.

A spokesman for the California Highway Patrol also said the investigation would affect the no. 1 lane on northbound I-15 in the same area.
