A look at local crime from April 1-7 shows a series of overnight residential burglaries and vehicle break-ins.

The San Diego Police Department and the San Diego County Sheriffs Department have partnered with CrimeMapping.com to track criminal activity in local neighborhoods.

Below is a sampling of crimes reported in Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Peñasquitos and 4S Ranch between April 1 and 7. Note: Crimes may later be reclassified after investigations.
