RB Planning Board Preview: Pump Station and Bylaw Changes

The Rancho Bernardo Planning Board is set to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Rancho Bernardo Planning Board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Oaks North Community Center, 12578 Oaks North Dr.

Here is a look at what's on the agenda:

  • Pump Station 84 Project (see pictures): From the attached documents:

The project includes the consolidation of Sewer Pump Station (SPS) 62 and 84 into one new station located at the existing SPS 84 site. Currently, SPS 84 pumps to SPS 62, which then conveys flow to an outfall gravity sewer located in Peñasquitos Drive. The proposed improvements will divert the flow that SPS 62 receives by graviety to SPS 84 and have SPS 84 pump directly to the outfall sewer in Peñasquitos Drive. Routing of gravity sewage flow from SPS 62 to SPS 84 consists of approximately 2,500 lineal feet of 12-inch gravity sewer and approximately 2,000 lineal feet of sewer upgrades to the existing eight-inch and ten-inch sewer lines to 12-inch in Paseo Montanoso and Avenida de los Lobos to SPS 84.
