RB's Branden Berry Named to All-State Baseball Team

Rancho Bernardo High baseball standout Branden Berry has earned one more honor before embarking on his collegiate career at the University of Washington.

Berry was named to the Cal-Hi Sports All-State baseball team after leading the Broncos to a second straight county title.The first baseman/catcher hit .432, powered 10 home runs and drove in 46 runs.

Rancho Bernardo pitcher Max Homick was named to the second-team all-state roster. The left-hander who will play for the University of San Diego next season went 10-1 with a 0.66 earned run average.
