Roberts Joins County Supervisors Race
Solana Beach City Councilman Dave Roberts hopes to fill the District 3 seat of Supervisor Pam Slater-Price.

Solana Beach City Councilman Dave Roberts filed paperwork Tuesday that allows him to raise funds for a campaign to replace outgoing county Supervisor Pam Slater-Price.
Roberts becomes the first Democrat to join the race and, if he wins, would be the first member of that party on the panel since at least 1995.
Steve Danon, chief of staff for Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Solana Beach, declared his candidacy long ago. U-T San Diego reported that another Republican, Del Mar Mayor Carl Hilliard, also plans to run.
