Ron Paul Tops Republican Party Straw Poll

Ron Paul was the future president of choice in a straw poll taken by the Republican Party of San Diego County at its monthly meeting in Rancho Bernardo on Monday.

Paul, with 112 of 367 votes, came in first place. Representatives for each candidate were on hand to speak to the crowd of about 400, party Chairman Tony Krvaric said, including Craig Romney, the candidate's son.
