Spring "Grab Bag" Book Sale at Rancho Bernardo Library Mar. 3

Event is presented and staffed by the nonprofit Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library to raise funds for the library.

A spring "Grab Bag" Book Sale at the Rancho Bernardo Library is set for 10 am to 4 pm Saturday, Mar. 3. A bag full of books is $3 for members of the Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library and $5 for nonmembers. The sale is presented and staffed by the nonprofit Friends, whose mission is to raise money and public awareness in the community to support the services and programs of the library.

Millie Boaz, RB Friends vice president, said the sale is not only a great bargain for books CDs and DVDs, but a chance to meet other library patrons and learn about new, free programs at the library. "This library means a great deal to people in our community and every penny from this sale goes toward new products for the library, new programs for both children and adults and the presentation of cultural events like concerts," she said.
