Suspect Sought in Apparent Armed Gas Station Robbery
A man appeared to have a gun as he robbed a Rancho Peñasquitos gas station Monday night.

A man robbed a Rancho Peñasquitos gas station Monday night, acting as though he had a gun before fleeing without injuring anyone, police said.
The robbery was reported at the Mobil gas station at 12849 Rancho Peñasquitos boulevard at 8:52 p.m. Monday, San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said.
The suspect came into the station store, made a demand and acted as though he had a gun in his waistband, though a weapon was not seen, Delimitros said. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash into a dark-colored car with two other occupants, the officer said.

No one was injured, Delimitros said.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-8, 150-pound, 28-year-old white man wearing a gray zippered hoodie and jean shorts, the officer said.
