241 and Part of the 133 to Close Down for Emergency Weekend Repairs
Starting Friday night, the northbound toll road will close for repairs along with the State Route 133 (Laguna Canyon Road) connector.

The northbound State Route 241 toll road between Laguna Canyon road and the Santiago Canyon/Chapman offramp will be shut down, starting Friday night and through the weekend for emergency repairs, Caltrans announced today.
That section of the toll road will be closed at 10 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.
Workers need to resurface the road to remove a dip.

Workers will also need to close the northbound State Route 133 (Laguna Canyon Road) connector to the northbound 241, and the northbound 241 toll road at the southbound Route 133 connector.
Motorists were advised to use the following detours:

--On northbound State Route 133 exit Irvine Boulevard, turn left and continue on Irvine Boulevard to north State Route 261 toll road to north State Route 241 toll road;
--On northbound State Route 241, use southbound State route 133, exit Irvine boulevard, turn right and continue on Irvine boulevard to north State Route 261 toll road to the State Route 241 Toll Road.
