Adventurers Ski, Snowboard Saddleback Mountain After Storm: Report

An Orange County resident trekked up to Saddleback Mountain with his skis, e-bike and camera in tow to tackle the slopes.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Most years, snow levels on the Saddleback Mountains see a light dusting of snow during cold seasons — but that changed this year, after several record-breaking snow storms brought a dense coating of snow onto Modjeska Peak, the Orange County Register reported.

Boat Captain for Newport Coastal Adventure Ryan Lawler trekked up to Saddleback Mountain on March 2 with his skies, e-bike and camera in tow.

"It's totally novelty skiing," he told the Orange County Register. "I've been waiting for this for years."
