RANCHO MISSION VIEJO, CA — A solo car crash on the Ortega Highway slowed traffic traveling through Rancho Mission Viejo Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The crash happened at 9:13 a.m. on the westbound side of the highway near Gibby Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least one person was injured in the crash, police said. Their status was not immediately known.
The crash stalled traffic on the westbound side of the highway, police said.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area.
