TRABUCO CANYON, CA — Before the storm, there are always signs.
Local resident Scott Knight captured one of those signs early this week in Trabuco Canyon.
"OK here we go — a 'Lenticular Cloud' has formed over Trabuco Canyon," Scott said of the photo. "Nature's way of telling us a weather change is coming!"
A weather change did indeed come, with scorching temperatures and smothering humidity blanketing the region through the week — and a savage surf wreaking havoc on the coastline.
