RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A brush fire broke out in Rancho Santa Margarita Thursday morning.

The fire was reported at 11:37 a.m. near the Dove Canyon Golf Course in Rancho Santa Margarita, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

The fire was estimated to be around half an acre, firefighters said.
