City Joins New Recycling-For-Pay Program: How To Join In RSM
The "Recycle From Home" program picks up and pays residents for their recyclable cans and bottles. Here's how to join the program in RSM.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — It just got easier to recycle in Rancho Santa Margarita, after the city announced the arrival of new pilot program Recycle From Home.
According to the city, the Recycle From Home program allows residents to get paid for recycling their aluminum, glass and plastic cans and bottles without leaving the comfort of their own home.
Residents who sign-up in the program will be supplied with collection bags and barcode tracking labels. After the bags are filled, a pick-up time can be scheduled online and the collection bags may be left outside for pick-up within 24-hours, the city said.
