The County of Orange has launched a one month open application period during February for rental households with unpaid rental and/or utility bills in arrears up to $10,000 per household.

Orange County was allocated $65,576,556 from the U.S. Department of the Treasury to implement the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program. The ERA Program provides funding to assist households unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rental Households can apply for financial assistance by using the Virtual Front Door on the 211 website or calling 211 to apply by phone.Â
