City Of Rancho Santa Margarita: Santa Margarita Parkway Bridge Hinge Maintenance Project Update

January 19, 2021

Lanes on the westbound Santa Margarita Parkway Bridge will be closed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 21st.

On Thursday, January 21st, the north Santa Margarita Parkway bridge, currently under construction, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This closure will allow the contractor to install joint seals to the repaired hinge, one of the final steps of stage 2 construction. 

Traffic impacts are anticipated but will be minimized to the greatest extent possible as motorists are detoured onto the south bridge.

Please remember, the speed limit in the construction zone is 45 mph.
