City Seeks Pantry Items During Coffee And Community Event

Rancho Santa Margarita residents can help support RSM Cares by bringing donations of non-perishable pantry items to Pavilions Saturday.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Rancho Santa Margarita residents looking to become more informed about their community while helping to support it in the process can join in on a special Coffee and Community event this Saturday, held by members of the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council.

At the Coffee and Community event, residents can enjoy a casual conversation with a city council member over a cup of coffee.

The city is also asking residents who attend to bring donations of non-perishable pantry items to be collected on behalf of the RSM Cares Food Pantry, which serves over 200 local families in the area.

This month's Coffee and Community event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Pavilions, 22451 Antonio Pkwy.

Residents interested in stopping by the RSM Cares Food Pantry can do so every first and third Wednesday of the month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone who stands in line receives fresh produce, non-perishable canned goods and more.

The RSM Cares Food Pantry is located at Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church, 30605 Avenida de las Flores.
