Cops Save Pig's Bacon: Pet Pig Left In Hot Car

A pig was perched in the rear window of this hot BMW. Inland county sheriff's deputies came to the aid of Ramone, before he, uh, cooked.

TUSTIN, CA β€” Now, perhaps, these deputies have seen it all. A pig named Ramone was found locked inside a BMW in Tustin this week. These north county cops went to work to help Orange County Animal Care free the farm animal.

Ramone was left inside a vehicle with the windows rolled up, an Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesperson said. A concerned resident alerted the proper authorities, and both OC Animal Care and deputies rendered aid to the little guy, finding the car's registered owner.

Ramone was "safely removed" from the vehicle.
