Do You Recognize Him? Rancho Santa Margarita Sexual Assault Suspect Sought By OC Sheriff
Authorities sought the public's help Saturday in locating a man who is believed to have sexually assaulted a girl in Rancho Santa Margarita.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Do you recognize this man? The Orange County Sheriff's Department released a composite sketch Saturday of a suspect who is believed to have sexually assaulted a girl in Rancho Santa Margarita, an OCSD spokesperson told Patch.
The incident occurred at Antonio and Santa Margarita parkways at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sgt. Todd Anderson of the OCSD told Patch.
The suspect followed the girl on foot, Anderson said, before assaulting her and fleeing southbound on Antonio Parkway when she called 911. The girl said she did not see any weapons on the suspect, Anderson added.

The suspect is believed to have blue or green eyes, authorities said. He is believed to be between five feet, 11 inches and six feet in height.
The suspect weighs about 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hooded zip-up sweatshirt, black skinny jeans and high-top shoes.

He is believed to be between 30 and 35 years old.

"We always want to remind people to be aware of their surroundings, if you’re out at night going for a walk or exercising, have somebody with you," Anderson told Patch. "If you have any concerns about being in danger, or think you're being followed, immediately call 911."
