Donate Blood, Receive "FRIENDS" Socks: Drives In RSM
Blood donors who give the gift of blood starting Nov. 18 will receive two pairs of free "FRIENDS" + Red Cross socks, while supplies last.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA β While times change along with the seasons, the American Red Cross's need for blood remains urgent.
This November, the Red Cross is attempting to combat the usual drop in blood donations by offering plenty of incentives to Rancho Santa Margarita residents who donate.
"Festive activities and busy calendars this time of year can disrupt normal routines, leading to a drop in blood donation appointments," Spokesperson Christine Welch said in a statement. "Eligible individuals are encouraged to make donating blood a priority, especially those with type O blood and those giving platelets."
