Drug Bust In Rancho Santa Margarita; Police Beat

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — It was a week of routine traffic stops, crashes a large drug bust in mid December. On Thursday night, a routine stop by Orange County Sheriff's Department Rancho Santa Margarita Police Services yielded a tad bit more than usual, officers said.
Deputies found nearly one-quarter pound of marijuana, "large amounts of cash," other THC products, and a scale were found, they reported.
A replica handgun was also found.
