Media Safety Seminar, April 26 @ 6:30 p.m. in the Mission Hills Community Church sanctuary
As technology advances increase, so does the opportunity for your child to be exposed to the dangers of those very same devices. What type of safeguards should be in place so that your child is protected from both damaging subject matter and dangerous people? Information will be presented on all types of social media: the internet, cellular phones, visual and audio media, and more. We’ll discuss the use of parental controls, age appropriate internet usage, and how to prepare your child/adolescent in advance when exposed to harmful media content.
This seminar will be led by Pastor Mike Foell and Carol Urton. Please feel free to invite your friends! A question and answer time will be included in the night’s proceedings.
